part of cell

The animal cell is one that makes up various animal tissues. It is of the eukaryotic type and can reproduce indenpendently.
Part of the animal cell
Nucleolus: The nucleolus produces ribosomal subunits from proteins and ribosomal RNA
Nucleus: The main function of the cell nucleus is to control gene expression and mediate DNA replication during the cell cycle
Vacuole: Vacuole can store food or any variety of nutrients that a cell may need to survive
Lysosome: The function of the lysosome is to digest things
Cytoplasm: Most of the important activities of the cell take place in the cytoplasm. The cytoplasm contains molecules such as enzymes that are responsible for breaking down waste and also aids in metabolic activity
Mitochondrion: Known as the "cell powers," the mitochondria produce the energy necessary for the cell's survival and function.
Golgi complex: A major function is the modifying, sorting and packaging of proteins for secretion. It is also involved in the transport of lipids around the cell, and the creation of lysosomes
Endoplasmic reticulum: Endoplasmic reticulum, in biology, a
continuous membrane system that forms a series of flattened sacs within the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells and serves multiple functions, being important particularly in the synthesis, folding, modification, and transport of proteins
Cell membrane: The cell membrane controls the movement of substances in and out of cells and organelles. In this way, it is selectively permeable to ions and organic molecules
